More growth.
Less grind.
An AI agent is more useful when customers can find your business, the website makes sense and inquiries have somewhere to go.
“Let computers use computers” is the fun part. Giving them a useful job in your business is the point.
Our original homepage put it this way: improve your search visibility, website and follow-up so customers can find you, contact you and get a response. That still matters. An agent should help that work happen, not become another complicated thing you have to manage.
First, make the business easy to find.
Say what you do, who it helps and how to get in touch. Keep your service pages and business profiles accurate. A computer can help prepare a page or check a listing; it still needs the right business facts.
Search visibility for your business
Give the next step somewhere to land.
A useful website helps someone recognize their problem and take the next step. A useful inquiry process records what they asked, who will respond and what happens next. That is a better foundation than a clever chatbot with nowhere to put the answer.
For example, an agent could turn incoming requests into a short follow-up list or prepare a reply from approved service information. The real question is whether the request gets a useful response—not how many things the agent clicked.
Then give the computer a real job.
Choose one repeated task: assemble a brief, draft a reply, collect missing job details or check a website change. Agree what a good result looks like. Connect the information and tools it needs, test it and hand it over.
Keep people over the decisions that matter. The point is less busywork, not less responsibility.
Fix the connection, not just the screen.
If the website attracts the wrong requests, a faster reply does not solve that. If a good request disappears into an inbox, more traffic does not solve that either. Look at the whole path: found, understood, contacted, answered.
Start where work gets stuck. Use the tools you already own where possible. A focused fix can be more useful than adding another app to the pile.
